Today, we rolled out a major suite of updates for magicscreenplaywriter.com designed to give you precision control over your scripts, from first draft to final export. Here is what’s new:
What’s New in Magic Screenplay Writer
Targeted Sequence Rewrites (1 Credit):
Got a sequence that needs more tension, snappier banter, or a different dramatic twist? You can now give the AI specific creative notes to rewrite just that sequence—without touching or re-running the rest of your script. Best of all, it only costs 1 credit.
Hand-Edit Any Sequence:
Prefer to tweak the lines yourself? You can now jump directly into any sequence and edit the text by hand. Type your changes flush left, hit Save, and the system instantly formats the scene and updates your entire screenplay.
Final Draft (.fdx) Export:
You asked, we delivered. In addition to Fountain, Markdown, and plain text, you can now export your script directly into Final Draft format (.fdx) with full scene headings, character cues, dialogue, and parentheticals intact.
Print-Ready PDF & Screenplay Title Page:
Generate a clean, industry-standard title page (complete with author and contact info) and print or save directly to a Hollywood-formatted PDF with correct 12pt Courier Prime typography and page numbering.
Script Stats & Runtime Estimator:
Get an instant read on your screenplay’s vitals right inside the Script tab: estimated screen runtime, page count, dialogue-to-action ratio, and a full breakdown of speaking characters with their line counts.
