How Credit Usage Works

Just to clarify:
You only use credits when the system actually processes new text.

That means if you paste in content you've already processed, or you're simply managing or formatting existing documents, you’re not using up any credits. For example:

You can format a book from scratch,
Then come back and add more chapters later without using additional credits,
Or use it to manage and output polished PDFs of books you already wrote — without reprocessing anything.

This makes it pretty great for managing evolving drafts, combining PDF versions, or reusing content over time.
