Hello everyone,
I want to share an important and very personal update with you about what’s been happening behind the scenes.
On November 23rd, I learned that a company that was scheduled to pay me six figures for one of my patents was being investigated by the SEC. As a result, those payments are not coming through. This was sudden, unexpected, and devastating to my business.
Because of that shortfall, I’ve had to immediately shift my focus to stabilizing the company and protecting the livelihoods of the people who work with me. That has meant scrambling to replace that lost income by prioritizing another project that demanded immediate attention.
As a consequence, some of the work I was actively doing on Magic Fiction Writer—specifically finishing the remaining bug fixes and completing the process that allows long-term lifetime deal holders to be fully moved over—has not progressed as quickly as planned. This delay is not because the work isn’t important to me, but because I had to make a hard call to keep the company itself on solid ground.
This situation is connected to the fallout involving Infinite Reality and a Forbes article that you may have seen. I’m attaching a video where I explain exactly what happened with that article in detail, and you can also read more about it here:
What this means in practical terms is that Magic Fiction Writer and Easy Book Formatter will be delayed by approximately one month.
I fully understand how frustrating this may be. I don’t take your patience or your trust lightly. But this is something I absolutely needed to do to keep the company viable, protect my team, and ensure that these products continue to exist—and improve—long term.
